Geeking in Branson

Hubby and I recently went on a mini-vacay with his sister and her boyfriend to Branson. Yeah, Branson, the second largest country music city in the US, and me and my hubby who both like everything except most modern country music, had a great time. My only complaint is that every single attraction closed at 6pm. We are kinda night owls, and we were sans-kiddos for three days, so we didn't want to get up early for anything. Amusingly, my hubby had a blast doing Olde Time photos after we finally convinced him to do them.

We got away from the stress of work, the house, kids (who we missed dearly), and packing to move, it was a great time in a nice resort and we had great food. When we got back, the kids had had a great time with Nana and Papa and were glad to see us. The littlest had slept through the night and went to bed like a champ, The big boys had been helpful and awesome....then reality returned. *Sigh* and now I want a vacation after my vacation. My hubby is back on the road for work (OTR trucker) and I am back to the normal day-to-day plus packing. (Is it the 30th yet? I'm seriously ready to get this move over with.) Here we go again!
